4.3. Migrating song-specific settings to another computer
If you have stored song-specific tempo/pitch settings with PaceMaker and wish to migrate these settings to another computer, you can do that as follows:- Type %APPDATA% onto the Windows Explorer location bar. This is alias that will direct Windows Explorer to user data folder, which typically maps to C:\users\[username]\appdata\roaming or similar location, depending a bit on the Windows version and setup
- This folder contains file pacemaker_songparams.txt that stores all the PaceMaker's song-specific settings.
- You can migrate your settings by copying this file to another PC e.g. by using an USB memory stick. You can even edit the settings file with a text editor if you wish.
4.4. Reset PaceMaker settings to defaults
If you need to reset all PaceMaker settings to default values, you can do that by deleting the PaceMaker settings file:
- Type %APPDATA% onto the Windows Explorer location bar. This is alias that will direct Windows Explorer to user data folder, which typically maps to C:\users\[username]\appdata\roaming or similar location, depending a bit on the Windows version and setup.
